Through its label, the Seigneurs de Bergerac range evokes images of the traditional festivities of medieval times.
Tasting Notes
Lovely red colour with violet tints. A rich, complex nose of red fruit and blackcurrant… A well-rounded attack developing into fleshiness. Velvety tannins with powerful flavours of fruit.
Wine Making
The grapes are harvested by machine and are vinified in stainless steel vats in the traditional manner. The wine is pumped over the must twice daily throughout the alcoholic fermentation which takes place at a controlled temperature of 25°-30°C.
Food Affinities
This wine is excellent with meat dishes and a great variety of cheeses. Serve at between 16°C and 18°C.
